About Me

I’m Ellen (they/them), a freelance editor with an MA in Creative And Critical Writing and a genuine passion for engaging with the craft of writing. 

 

I discovered my love for giving critical feedback during the many writing workshops that I participated in during my MA. I quickly realised that good feedback, when given and received with honesty and generosity, could be genuinely transformative for both the quality of work and the writer. Feedback can give you clarity, encouragement and renewed motivation to continue with your writing.

 

I know first-hand the vulnerability and bravery required to share one’s writing. We put a part of ourselves into our writing and it can feel surprisingly scary to share that with another person. I treat all work with the respect it deserves.​
